United States Maths Curriculum Grades 5–10 — Grade-by-Grade Guide for Parents

EduVerseJr's United States Maths curriculum guide is built for parents who want to know exactly what their child should be learning each year. Every topic on this page is aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSS-M) — the official national standard followed in United States schools. We have mapped Grade 5 through Grade 10 maths topic by topic, so you can see what your child has covered, what is coming next, and where you might want extra 1-to-1 help.

Every student on our platform also gets Reva AI Teacher — a 24/7 AI maths tutor that explains any topic on this page step-by-step, with worked examples and practice questions. For deeper coaching, our expert human teachers run live 1-to-1 online classes for United States students with built-in timezone scheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this aligned with Common Core?

Yes. Every topic is mapped to Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSS-M). State-specific variants (e.g. California, Texas TEKS) are also supported on request.

Does this match what my child does at school?

In most US public and private schools that follow Common Core, yes. If your school uses a different scope (e.g. accelerated math, integrated math, IB) we can adjust the lesson order during signup.

When do students start Algebra I?

Most US students take Algebra I in Grade 8 or 9. Accelerated students may take it earlier. Our human teachers can help bridge gaps if your child is moving in early.
