Canada Science Curriculum Grades 5–10 — Grade-by-Grade Guide for Parents

EduVerseJr's Canada Science curriculum guide is built for parents who want to know exactly what their child should be learning each year. Every topic on this page is aligned with Canadian provincial science curricula (Ontario, BC, Alberta and equivalents) — typically organised around Life Systems, Matter and Energy, Structures and Mechanisms, and Earth and Space — the official provincial standard followed in Canada schools. We have mapped Grade 5 through Grade 10 science topic by topic, so you can see what your child has covered, what is coming next, and where you might want extra 1-to-1 help.

Every student on our platform also gets Reva AI Teacher — a 24/7 AI science tutor that explains any topic on this page step-by-step, with worked examples and practice questions. For deeper coaching, our expert human teachers run live 1-to-1 online classes for Canada students with built-in timezone scheduling.

Grade 10 Science — Canada

Grade 10 Science (Academic): biology — tissues, organs and systems of living things; chemistry — chemical reactions; physics — light and geometric optics; climate change — Earth's climate and human activity.

Provincial science assessments & senior science prep

For Ontario students we support OSSLT-style scientific literacy and prepare for Grade 11/12 Biology, Chemistry and Physics streams. BC, Alberta and other provinces also covered. International-bound students can take AP Biology, AP Chemistry or AP Physics with our help.
